Tapas and Taps: Our 7th Anniversary Celebration

sevenIt is our birthday and you are all invited to join us at the pub April 7th to 13th for Tapas and Taps, a full week of fine food and amazing craft beer to celebrate our 7th Anniversary!

Another great year is in the books and it is hard to believe that it has been seven years since we first opened our doors.  We know that none of this could have been possible without our amazing friends and patrons, so we wanted to do something extra special this year to show you our appreciation.  Since there are 7 days in a week, it seemed only natural to keep the theme of 7’s by doing 7 events for 7 years.  Each night will focus on a themed menu of tapas paired with some of the best craft beer available in Birmingham (full schedule available below).  Those lucky 7’s return as each night’s feature beer flight and tapas menu will be available for the incredibly low price of $7 each.  To end this week on the highest of notes, we will be hosting a 7 course beer dinner with our friends at Trim Tab Brewing Company on April 13th (click here for more information)!

Tapas and Taps is just our way of saying thank you for seven fantastic years at The J. Clyde, and we hope that you can join us for one, many or all events during our anniversary week to raise a glass with us.  We have a lot planned for the coming year, and we cannot think of a better way to start it than with all of you guys and gals!  See you all then!

Tuesday, April 8th – Sinful Pork Tapas (a.k.a. BACON!) featuring the beers of Straight to Ale

  • Pork Tenderloin Brie Baguette – Double Oatmeal Stout Single Barrel 
  • Pork Sausage Ball over Fresh Tomato Ragout – Hellfire Quad

Wednesday, April 9th – Hereford Beef Taps paired with offerings from Cahaba Brewing Company

  • Caprese Skewer with Aged Balsamic Vinegar – Bearded Lady American Wheat Ale

Friday, April 11th – Seafood Tapas of the Alabama Gulf Coast featuring offerings from Avondale Brewing Company and Fairhope Brewing Company
