Special Keg Tapping: Good People Brewing's El Gordo on June 12
Just a short post here, but what it lacks in word count is made up for in awesome content. On Tuesday, June 12, we will be tapping Good People Brewing Company’s incredibly elusive El Gordo Imperial Stout!
As many of you may know, El Gordo is the much larger brother of Good People’s Fatso, and it has to be the biggest, most viscous stout made in the state of Alabama. Always difficult to track down, El Gordo’s name is usually only spoken in hushed tones during brewfest season, and this beer is usually gone as quickly as it was tapped. The grumblings of the disappointed folks who missed a chance at a taste are always left in El Gordo’s wake. To remedy this situation, we tracked down a keg and will have it for your drinking pleasure this Tuesday. This beer has not seen many taps outside of a festival, so make plans accordingly if El Gordo happens to be on your craft beer bucket list.
El Gordo is coming to the pub on Tuesday, June 12. You have been warned. No excuses. See you then.
