Flight Night with Finch's Beer Company, August 27
Swing by the pub on Wednesday, August 27th to join us for a Flight Night and glassware giveaway with Finch’s Beer Company!
Finch’s Beer Company joined the Chicago craft beer scene in April of 2011 with a commitment to produce artfully brewed craft beer with nothing but the best of ingredients. The Finch’s lineup is led by five core beers (Cut Throat Pale Ale, Fascist Pig Ale, Golden Wing Blonde Ale, Secret Stache Stout, and Threadless IPA) and supported by a growing list of seasonals and limited edition specialties. You can currently find these offerings in seventeen states through thirty distributors, and Alabama is now one of those lucky few.
For our Flight Night event on August 27th, we will be serving up a special flight of the following four Finch’s brews for just $10:
- Cut Throat Pale Ale – Finch’s Pale Ale is a refreshing experience from the pop of the top. Its fresh and hoppy taste with just enough supporting malt makes it easy to kick back more than just one. Our late kettle additions of American hop varieties and dry hopping techniques make this beer one of our favorites. 5.6% ABV
- Fascist Pig Ale – Fascist Pig is a deep red, malt-forward ale brewed with plenty of caramel malts and a touch of rye for a hint of spice. This big American red ale is brewed and dry-hopped with palisade, an earthy and somewhat floral, mentholated American variety, and Zythos, an American blend that leans strongly toward Amarillo, Simcoe and Cascade varieties. 8% ABV
- Threadless IPA – Finch’s Beer Company’s Threadless IPA is the gold medal winner in the IPA category at this year’s World Expo of Beer, Michigan’s largest international beer sampling event. Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! 6% ABV
- Wet Hot American Wheat – Wet Hot American Wheat is named for it’s particularly “wet” mash and “hot” initial fermentation temperature. It is brewed and dry hopped with Centennial and Columbus hops and utilizes two different kinds of wheat malt, White wheat and Torrified wheat. This beer has an initial sweetness that is balanced by hop additions late in the boil. 5% ABV
Not bad at all for just ten bucks, and that deal gets even sweeter when you consider that everyone who orders a flight will receive a free piece of Finch’s branded glassware (while supplies last)!
If you have been looking for the perfect event to get you properly acquainted with Finch’s Beer Company, consider your search over. Just get over here on August 27th and we will take care of you. See you then!
