Father's Day Beermosa Brunch, June 15

30 May 2014 No Comment

BB0 92.tifBring dear ol’ dad out to the pub on Sunday, June 15th between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to celebrate his holiday at our Father’s Day Beermosa Brunch!

When you get down to the heart of the matter, all dad wants for Father’s Day is probably a combination of three things: a little relaxation, a delicious meal with his family, and a great beer.  Luckily, we will be serving up all three of those at our Father’s Day Brunch.  To make sure dad leaves well fed, we will be serving up the following spread of delicious eats buffet-style:

  • Egg & Bacon Casserole
  • Vegetable Frittata
  • Cheese Grits
  • Biscuits
  • Homemade Preserves
  • Tomato Gravy
  • Sausage & Bacon
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Ovetta’s Famous Cinnamon Rolls
  • Coffee from FinerGrind Coffee Roasters

If you would like a tasty libation to accompany your meal, the bar will be fully stocked and staffed to serve you your beverage of choice.  As an added bonus, our bartenders will be serving up a complimentary beermosa to each dad that attends the event.  Consider it our way of thanking your father for raising kids with such good taste in food and beer.

Cost of the brunch is $19 per adult and $9 per child.  This brunch is by reservation only and you can arrange yours by calling 205.939.1312, emailing info@jclyde.com, or by simply telling your server or bartender the next time you are in the pub.  If you do not want to be tied down by reservations but would still like to bring your dad down to the pub for a pint, we will have the bar open until the end of the last World Cup match on Father’s Day (a very limited kitchen menu will be available).  Brunch or no brunch, everyone is welcome to hang out and yell at the TV with their pops like the old days.

Bill Cosby once said, “Fatherhood is pretending the present you love most is soap-on-a-rope.”  Together we can end this stigma by simply giving the old man what he wants.  All you have to do is bring your dad to us, and we’ll take care of the rest.
