Fall FestivAle returns to Birmingham on November 2nd

20 October 2012 No Comment

Fall FestivAle will return for its second installment at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd at Old Car Heaven (115 35th Street South), and we are happy to say that The J. Clyde is a proud sponsor of the event!

Fall FestivAle is a beer festival presented by Free the Hops as an effort to fill a bit of the void left after Alabama brewfest season ends in early summer.  With a heavy focus on Alabama breweries, Fall FestivAle features a wide array of seasonal, rare and unique beers from our beloved local breweries.  Although mostly Alabama brewers attend, there a few guest appearances from out of state breweries as well.  Some of the beers featured at this event are so limited that just a small allotment is being brewed and sent to Birmingham exclusively for this event.  For a list of attending breweries and beers to be served, click here.

If there is an event featuring rare beer in Birmingham, you know you are going to find The J. Clyde there.  Our crew will be hanging out at Fall FestivAle and plating up some delicious grub for you to enjoy throughout the event.   Our menu will consist of the following sliders served on sweet potato rolls from Continental Bakery:

  • Slow roasted pork loin with horseradish cream sauce
  • Grilled beef with Good People IPA teriyaki sauce
  • Marinated eggplant as a vegetarian option

Tickets for this event are $27 in advance online (just click here) or $37 at the door day of the event.  Cost of admission gets you a commemorative keepsake tasting glass and six pours.  Additional pours can be purchased for $1 each at the event in case you find a beer that strikes your fancy.

This is a cannot miss event for Birmingham beer lovers, so arrange your tickets soon.  While you are at Fall FestivAle, make sure to stop by our area to say hello and grab some sliders to pair up with all that tasty beer you will be enjoying.  We hope to see you then!
