Anniversary Day 4 – April 9: Bell's Batch 9000 Tapping
Our 8 Days for 8 Years Anniversary Celebration is in full swing, and now things are going to get quite serious for our Day 4 event. Join us on Thursday, April 9th at 2:13 p.m. when we host a special tapping of the coveted Batch 9000 Ale from Bell’s Brewery!
Bell’s Brewery has been absent from The J. Clyde since 2013, but we are welcoming them back for one last, incredibly rare keg – Batch 9000 Ale that we have been aging in-house for FIVE LONG YEARS! It is difficult to convey just how special this keg is, so we’ll just let the brewery’s description of Batch 9000 do the talkin’:
Batch 9,000 Ale offers up aromas ranging from the sweet caramel & molasses of dark rum to fruits such as raisins and plums. Brewed with the idea of pushing boundaries in mind, Batch 9,000 Ale is a unique, one-time-only recipe. Well suited for vintage aging, this limited release will continue to develop in flavor & complexity over the years. ABV – 12.5%
That last sentence is key because this beer is guaranteed to be absolutely exquisite after these last five years of careful aging. Be warned that we are tapping this elusive beer at 2:13 p.m. SHARP, and you better believe that it is going to disappear quickly. Your chances to try this beer, especially on draft, are running out. You need to be here on Thursday. Seriously. Dip out of work a little early, grab a spot at the bar, and spend your Thursday afternoon savoring a pour of this beer. Come get it while you can because this may be the last time you’ll find a Bell’s beer at The J. Clyde. See you all on Thursday!
