Anniversary Day 1 – April 6: Reinventing a Local Favorite

5 April 2015 No Comment

jclydestainedMonday, April 6th marks the first installment of our 8 Days for 8 Years Anniversary Celebration, and we invite you all to start the week with us by revisiting some of your favorite, local craft beers from a whole new perspective!

Our goal here at The J. Clyde has always been to bring Birmingham’s beer lovers a neighborhood pub that embraces both familiar tradition and modern craft beer culture.  This approach has taught us that complacency is never an option when change is inevitable, so we have consistently focused our efforts on keeping up with the demands of an always evolving craft beer environment.  Whether it was by expanding/moving/adding bars, educating our staff on the newest craft beer innovations, dedicating ourselves to a proper glassware program, or going from humble pub grub to an amazing seasonal menu with only the finest ingredients; we have embraced change throughout the last eight years to provide you all with the best craft beer experience possible.

One constant around here has been our dedication to our local breweries because we are firm believers that some of the best beers we tap at the pub are made right here in the great state of Alabama. To celebrate this fact and reintroduce you to their brilliance, we are taking the following Alabama-brewed beers and applying some of the tools/techniques we have acquired over the years to have a little fun with them at this event:

While you are enjoying these old favorites from a new perspective, you will also be able to enjoy the first of a week’s worth of 8th Anniversary food specials coming out of The J. Clyde kitchen.  Monday’s special will feature a beautiful dish of Fried Oysters, Grits, Scallions & Bacon.  Believe us when we tell you that you want this deliciousness in your life.

This event is going to be the perfect start to the amazing week that we have planned for you at our 8th Anniversary Celebration.  We hope that you all can join us at the pub on Monday to raise a glass with us to the memories of the past and the limitless future ahead of us.  See you all then!
