Two Casks! Adding a Pin Today from Good People!
One of the best cask-conditioned ales that has come out of Good People’s little Birmingham brewery was a Pale Ale dry-hopped with a generous portion of Centennial hops tapped back in May. It had huge floral and citrus aromas with a big citrus flavor and a dry finish. This week’s cask-conditioned Pale Ale was dry hopped with the same amount of Centennial hops, but it’s only half the volume of beer (pin vs. firkin). If the amount was generous before, it is enormous this time around. Should be one that the hop heads enjoy.
In case you’re interested, a pin is 4.5 Imperial gallons. A firkin is 9 Imperial gallons. So…this beer won’t last long.
We’ll be tapping Friday, August 14th by 5pm!
Cheers!
P.S. We still have Terrapin’s Maggie’s Farmhouse Ale on cask too!
