What a great summertime beer.  This very neat hefeweizen utilizes Weihenstephaner yeast.  Never had a hefeweizen on cask.  This should be interesting as the banana and cloves hints should be a bit more prominent without the explosive  carbonation that many hefes exhibit out of the bottle or on draught.

Tempted to serve this in weizen glasses instead of the traditional nonic Imperial pint glasses.  Tough decision.  Might have to perform a taste test tomorrow.

Hefeweizens are in the ale family and so you would think firkins are right up their alley.  We shall see!

It’s a bit wild, but interesting.  Will get another firkin of this definitely.
