Fantastic Friday!
This is no gimmick! So please keep reading.
We’ll be tapping a new cask this Friday from Good People Brewing Company – Birmingham’s Local Brewery. It’s an IPA with “some Vanguard and heaps o’ Centennial.” Might I suggest sauerkraut balls with that beer!
Next we have a new Belgian on draught – Piraat. This is an exceptional beer. Style is Belgian IPA and IMO it’s one of the best in this style. Never had it on draught, so it should be incredible.
We’ll also be tapping Olde Towne’s Emancipation Ale – a double IPA that folks have been raving about up in the Rocket City. It clocks in at a hefty 10%. We’re fortunate Olde Towne saved a few kegs for The J. Clyde and I am very excited to have this one. They only made a small batch so it won’t last.
Also, we’ll be bringing back Andygator a very nice doppelbock from Abita.
…and last but not least, Spaten Optimator. Optimator is another doppelbock so it would be cool to compare this German-produced titan to the Andygator.
Grab a half or full pint of the firkin and then sample the new stuff with this flight: Good People Snake Handler, Olde Towne Emancipation, Piraat, Abita Andygator, and Spaten Optimator. Life doesn’t get any better than this.
Cheers!
